Sub: Welfare board meeting of TN circle on 28.04.2016
The agenda proposed to be discussed in this upcoming Circle Welfare board meeting are furnished in the enclosure
Agenda items for the GDS Circle Welfare Board meeting to be held on 28.04.2016.
1.      Merger and disposal of GDS benevolent fund with GDS Circle Welfare Fund.

2.      Denial of maternity grant to women GDS employees on the ground of non availability of funds.

3.      Proper action to be taken by authorities enabling the welfare measures to reach the hand of GDS employees promptly.

4.      Award of computer to the meritorious children of GDS employees to promote their knowledge in computer science freely.

5.      Supply of tri-wheeler conveyance or bicycle conveyance freely to the physically handicapped GDS and also for their physically handicapped children.

6.      All medical reimbursement facility must be extended to GDS and their family members as like regular departmental staff.

7.      Refund of security bond amount recovered in one lump from GDS must be given to the retiring GDS at the time of his retirement.

8.      Since the annual subscription of Rs.240/- is recovered in January of every year towards GDS welfare fund all the welfare claims of GDS should be sanctioned without delay as there would be no occasion for any non availability of funds.

9.      Disbursement of cyclonic relief materials to the GDS employees serving in the serving in the coastal divisions without exception.

10.  Payment of tribal allowance to the GDS working in hilly places in the circle.
11.  As a mark of honour, the retiring GDS should be given memorable momento and it should be restored.

12.  Due to soaring prices, funerable expenses may be increased for GDS.
