Sub: Inconvenience arises to the rural GDS employees while taking salary reg.

Respected Sir,
This union is constrained to put forth the following to your kind notice and sympathetic consideration.
After the implementation of VI th central pay commission to the civilian employees, salaries of the govt. employees are ordered to be credited into bank account. The same procedure has also been adopted in the case of GDS employees also in our circle. Normally the salary amount is credited into the Post office savings bank account. But the savings bank rule doesn’t permit the GDS BPM sanction the withdrawal amount above Rs.5000/-. Because of this practice our GDS employees working in the rural BO’s are unable to get their salary on the pay day in one lump sum. To overcome this difficulty this Circle union comes forth with a suggestion that the limit for sanction of withdrawal (in the case of salary only) from the SB account of the GDS employees may perhaps be raised to the amount equal to their salaries as an exceptional case. This may enable the poor GDS employees to get their salary on the pay day in one lump sum. If not possible the poor GDS employees may kindly be permitted to take payment directly without crediting into the savings bank account. Therefore this circle union earnestly requesting our Hon. CPMG to intervene into this matter immediately and cause favourable orders.

Respected Sir,
Sub: Inability to claim RPLI Incentives by the official who procured the business reg.

This circle union is constrained to put forth the following issue to the Hon. CPMG’s kind notice and necessary early action.
Generally, RPLI incentives have been paid to the employees who produce the RPLI business. Individual agent code number has been allotted to each and every employee in order to claim the incentives.
In the Mecamish scenario, an insurant can remit the premium anywhere in India. Due to this procedure the actual agent (the GDS employee who procures the policy) could not get the credit particulars for incentive claim. Hence the employee who procured the policy is unable to claim the incentive for the subsequent remittance of premium amounts.
Therefore this union requests our Hon. CPMG to cause appropriate orders to intimate the credit particulars to the actual agent, who procure the business and help the poor employee to get the due incentive in time.
A single line reply is solicited.
Thanking You.

Respected Sir,
Sub: Immediate action is requested to stop the irregular recovery of TRCA from GDS officials in the name of triennial revision 2013-reg.

It is brought to the notice of this Circle Union that, some of the divisions in Central Region, has adopted the irregular procedure of TRCA recovery in connection with the triennial revision of TRCA taken in the year 2013 and it had been implemented in the year 2015. The TRCA of a lot of GDS employees got reduced and a huge amount was ordered to be recovered from the salary of the poor GDS employees, with retrospective effect. A huge amount was ordered to be recovered for a large number of cases.
A good number of our members are severely affected due to this irregular recovery.
Therefore this union is urging our Hon. CPMG, TN to intervene personally in this matter so as to safeguard the poor GDS employees from financial hardship.
A single line reply is solicited.

Thanking You
