Sub: Regularisation of prolonged provisional appointments of GDS employees in the

                     circle-requested.

A large number of GDS officials are working under provisional appointments almost in all the divisions in the circle.

Time and again this problem has been discussed in all periodical meetings at all level and it has been only assured that all such prolonged provisional appointments will be regularized soon on receipt of the police verification report through district collectors about the character and antecedents of those provisional appointees.

But no tangible action appears to have been taken to speed up the said process and the provisional appointments remain as it was so long.

In this connection this circle union requests to adopt the method followed by the administration in the matter of recruitment of SBCO LDC to fill up the vacancies.

In the LDC recruitment, all the candidates have been directly issued with regular appointment order on the strength of furnishing conduct certificates obtained from two gazatted officers subject to the condition that they would be removed immediately, if any adverse report about character and antecedents is subsequently received.

This circle union will remain highly thankful if the above mentioned same analogy is applied in the matter of regularization of the provisional GDS appointees so as to enable all the prolonged provisional GDS employees to get regularized in all divisions very immediately. It is requested suitable such instructions be issued to all Divisional Heads in the circle.
