It has been intimated by the Circle Secretary, All India Gramin Dak Sevaks Union, T.N. Circle that the CWC meeting of their Union will be held on 28^th Aug’16 at 0900 hrs at Arima Arangam, Arima Nagar, Kalangalpathai, Sulur 641 402 at 0900 hrs.

            Necessary Special Leave/Paid Leave, if applied for may please be granted to all  the  eligible  Office Bearers  on 28^th Aug’16 with actual journey time as per the standing instructions on the subject provisionally in accordance with the Union Constitution subject to regularization on production of certificate of attendance.  It may please be ensured that grant of Special Leave/Paid Leave should not exceed 20 days in a year.

            The Regions are requested to communicate the same to all Divisions/Units under their control.

             CPMG உடனான நான்கு மாதாந்திர பேட்டி 26.08.2016 க்கு பதிலாக 30.08.2016 அன்று நடைபெற உள்ளது.

NOTICE

Under the provisions of article 32(i) of the constitution of AIGDSU, it is hereby notified that the Circle working committee of this union Shall meet at Sulur(Tiruppur Dn) in the premises of Arima Arangam, Arima Nagar, Kalangalpathai, Sulur – 641 402 on 28.08.2016 at 9.00 hrs under the president ship of Corn. M. Rajangam Circle President. The Circle Working committee shall commence its business sharply at 9.00 hrs. The following will be the agenda.

4.              Review of Dormant functioning of Divisional Union in Pollachi Division.

தூத்துக்குடி கோட்ட 9வது கோட்ட மாநாடு 07.08.2016 அன்று ஸ்ரீ வைகுண்டம் தலைமை அஞ்சலகத்தில் வைத்து நடைபெற்றது.

மாநாட்டில் மாநில தலைவர் தோழர் M ராஜாங்கம், மாநில உதவி செயலர்         S கால பெருமாள், கோவில்பட்டி கோட்ட செயலர் பூரஜா மற்றும் P3, P4 கோட்ட செயலர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். நடப்பு ஈராண்டிற்கான நிர்வாகிகள் ஏக மனதாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.

விருத்தாசலம் கோட்ட 9வது மாநாடு

விருத்தாச்சலம் கோட்ட 9வது மாநாடு தியாக துருகம் ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணா தாய் திருமண மண்டபத்தில் வைத்து மாநில செயலர் A இஸ்மாயில் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது.

31.07.2016 அன்று நடைபெற்ற மாநாடு ஈராண்டறிக்கை, வரவு செலவு கணக்குகள் ஒப்புதல் மற்றும் தலைவர், உதவி தலைவர், பதவிகள் ஒருமானதான தேர்வுக்குப்பின் ஒத்தி வைக்கப்பட்ட மாநாட்டு நிகழ்வுகளின் தொடர்ச்சியாக 07.08.2016 நடைபெற்ற செயலர் தேர்வில் M ராமகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் வெற்றி பெற்றார். தொடர்ந்து நிர்வாகிகள் அனைவரும் ஏகமனதாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.

மாநாட்டில் தலைமை ஆலோசகர் தோழர் R ஜான் பிரிட்டோ முன்னாள் மாநில பொருளாளர் தோழர் R ஜெகநாதன், சட்ட ஆலோசகர்கள் R வாசுதேவன், T கந்தசுவாமி, மத்திய மண்டலா செயலர் R சுவாமிநாதன், மேற்கு மண்டலா செயலர் பாலமுருகன், கடலூர் கோட்ட தலைவர் இரட்சகர் மாநில செயலர் A இஸ்மாயில் ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

Even though the orders of the Directorate dated 17.12.2015 is complete in all respects some circles like Karnataka have raised queries which ultimately resulted in rejecting the applications of hard and deserving cases.  We are of the considered opinion that there was no necessity to issue the corrigendum to point 5 of the letter.  The clarification dampened the aspirations of many deserving wards of GDS died in harness.  It amounts to further neglect and discrimination towards GDS community.  The cases badly delayed, in the pipe line - yet to be placed before the CRC, would be considered on the revised merit points, e.g., divisions like Tumkur, Mandya, Kolar etc., in Karnataka circle.  There are cases being processed for the last 2-3 years.  On the other hand really hard and deserving cases suffered rejection without rationale. 

Reportedly there are 45,000-50,000 vacant posts of GDS in the country as on today.  Number of hard and deserving cases pending is negligible when compared to the posts vacant.  In fact extension of this welfare measure has been flown on the urge of this union, on in-depth study, to wipe the tears of those hard and deserving cases referred and the very purpose is defeated by the above corrigendum. 

Needless to mention here that most of the wards of GDS are deprived of proper education, health care and other basic necessities; sudden death of the GDS would further worsen the already worsened economic condition of the family.  Unlike departmental staff the GDS is not entitled for double gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment and other benefits.  There is no cut off points to departmental staff and enforcement of unscientific restrictions of 51 points, now 36 to GDS is improper and discriminatory.  It is but natural that the wards of GDS crave for appointment in relaxation of recruitment rules in the existing system of exploitation at all levels.

    

We, therefore, request you to have a re-look into the issue and cause to assure compassionate appointment to the families of all hard and deserving cases from retrospective date, as per orders dated 17.12.2015.
